  • Payment Information: Processed securely by Stripe. We never store credit card numbers.
  • Usage Data: Feature usage, session duration, and error logs to improve the product.
  • Device Information: Operating system, device name, and app version for support purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide and maintain the JarvisCodex desktop application and services.
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions via Stripe.
  • Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, password resets).
  • Improve product performance and fix bugs.
  • Respond to support requests and inquiries.

3. Your Code Stays Local

JarvisCodex executes code locally on your machine. Your source code, project files, and terminal output are never uploaded to our servers. AI queries are sent directly from your machine to the AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) using your own API keys.

4. Third-Party Services

  • Stripe: Payment processing. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
  • AI Providers: When using BYOK (Bring Your Own Key), requests go directly to your chosen provider. We do not proxy or store these requests.
  • GitHub: Optional OAuth integration for repository access, governed by GitHub's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS/TLS encryption, JWT-based authentication, and secure password hashing (bcrypt). Access to production systems is restricted and audited.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@jarviscodex.com.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or advertising pixels.
